2010: "Goodbye, monster!" Ligabue
Back! It is absolutely true, has finally released a new solo album on March 26 and was kicked off the sale of tickets for a tour called "Ligabue stages 2010 which will start from July 9.
In January 2010, in fact, the singer has revealed to his fans to be working to release a new solo album by the summer, and to design a new stadium tour. The official launch of the disk, initially scheduled for May 7 has been scheduled for May 11, 2010, the same day twenty years before the first album came out, LIGABUE.
But the surprises are not over for fans of the singer, 15 April 2010 it was the Day Ligabue, renamed Liga Day More than 100 cinemas across Italy have broadcast the concert live Ligabue held at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome in 2008. Ligabue in an interview explains why the title of the new album
"Everybody has their own monsters, ghosts can call their own obsessions, fears, constraints, feelings of inadequacy, expectations and who knows in what other ways . We know, however, that they are alive and are the filter through which Mature anyone's own, personal world view. I think I know enough about my "monsters", they make me company for so long. It may be - continues the singer - who is also for this long association that now, at this stage of my life, I seem to be less "powerful" and "cumbersome". Some of them I've dealt with in this album but it was only to let them know I was greeted them. They like all the others. I know that would be too beautiful to be a final farewell. In fact I was not allowed to say "Goodbye, monster!" but a more cautious and realistic: "Goodbye, monster."
Inolte on the occasion of his 50th birthday, March 13, 2010, was also released Text Over time, this track featured on the new album.
A few hours after its release the first single from the new album, A blow to the soul, came straight to the top of the list of songs sold online on iTunes and debuted at the first position of the official FIMI individual. The new album, after the release, has topped the album charts in stores and digital download.
Hence Ligabue back into the breach.
